words have meanings .. choose words carefully.. people have their lives ruined every day for saying or writing words that some putz complains are “hurtful” or “offensive” 😁😂😄 or politically incorrect. “it was only words!” says the person who had his life upended, and he’s right; but in todays political climate, others will use your mere words to destroy you, your reputation, your livelihood. I agree that they’re only words, but the scales are no longer balanced.
There's a lot more descriptive and more dramatic words I would use for "a genuine human tragedy or atrocity"!! Sorry for touching such a sensitive nerve!
